Maslows Theory….extrapolated

Audrey Hughes of Principal HR recently performed a survey which suggested that 39% of women favoured part-time employment or job sharing when they return from maternity leave. Considering this finding in conjunction with Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, would suggest that quite a considerable percentage of the workforce would be far more motivated in the workplace if part time roles were offered. I know I am extrapolating slightly but I’ve been there, done that and know the benefits.
