Sales and Logistics Coordinator
Our Client is currently looking for a Sales/Logistics Coordinator to join their organisation. This is a busy role which will suit a proactive person. The role holder will have the autonomy to make the role his/her own. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Answering incoming calls and customer enquiries.
Creation of Sales Offers, Sales Orders and Rental Orders.
Coordination with customers regarding logistics.
Meeting customer stock requirements and finding alternatives when something is not in stock but urgently needed.
Preparation of customer shipments and creation of pick lists.
Agree delivery schedule with customers.
Assist with general customer queries.
Schedule and co-ordinate delivery of customer loads with external logistics company.
Liaise with transport companies and internal management to ensure schedule is efficiently executed.
Notify relevant staff when an issue arises and proactively solve issues where possible.
Assist with stock control and order placement.
Approve transport invoices.
Communicate with customers in a professional manner.
Relevant 3rd level qualification
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar role
Good communication skills.
Experience working with SAP
Proficiency in MS Office
A “can do” work ethic with excellent problem-solving skills
Driving License B1
