Quality Assurance Technician
Our Client is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join their Quality Department. The role reports into the Quality Manager.
Responsibilities:
Review and monitor the performance of the quality management system.
Report to management and communicate with customers on matters pertaining to quality.
Promote awareness of regulatory and customer requirements throughout the organisation.
Conduct all calibrations / verifications of instruments, gauges, etc. and report any discrepancies.
Manage change control requests and train up relevant staff on new and revised Quality System requirements arising from this.
Handle customer complaints incl. investigations, corrective actions, etc. and reporting progress of investigations to management.
Support and participate in all audits – customer, regulatory authority, and internal audits.
Review, compile and analyse quality data.
Assisting the preparations for the Management Review meetings and preparing of relevant reports, schedules, etc.
Communicate with suppliers regarding quality issues.
Management and maintain all quality-controlled documents and records.
Prepare certificates of conformity.
Creating Job Specifications.
Support Process & Equipment Validation projects.
Experience & Skills:
Previous experience of working in an ISO Quality Management System (ideally ISO13485) in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
Process & Equipment Validation Qualification experience is advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and administration skills.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work on own initiative and in a team environment.
Strong research and problem-solving skills.
Excellent PC skills with a strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint software packages.
