Purchasing Administrator

Our Client, based in Co. Meath, is looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join their organisation. This is a maternity leave contract (up to November).

Responsibilities of the role :

  • Process daily purchase orders and follow orders through from PO to delivery stage to corresponding invoice
  • Part codification and inventory control of all materials
  • Procurement of similar materials from alternative suppliers
  • Maintain purchasing data management system, ensuring data integrity through accurate data entry
  • Liaise with Department Managers regarding material requisitions and supplies for future projects
  • Generate Spare Parts Division quotations
  • Handle all Supplier/Customer queries in relation to orders placed
  • Co-ordinating all order shipments, couriers, deliveries etc
  • Related administration duties

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in Word & Excel
  • Good organisational and planning skills
  • Good communicator – both internal and external
  • Ability to work well under pressure
