Purchasing Administrator
Our Client, based in Co. Meath, is looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join their organisation. This is a maternity leave contract (up to November).
Responsibilities of the role :
- Process daily purchase orders and follow orders through from PO to delivery stage to corresponding invoice
- Part codification and inventory control of all materials
- Procurement of similar materials from alternative suppliers
- Maintain purchasing data management system, ensuring data integrity through accurate data entry
- Liaise with Department Managers regarding material requisitions and supplies for future projects
- Generate Spare Parts Division quotations
- Handle all Supplier/Customer queries in relation to orders placed
- Co-ordinating all order shipments, couriers, deliveries etc
- Related administration duties
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Word & Excel
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Good communicator – both internal and external
- Ability to work well under pressure
