Laboratory Team Leader

Our Client is currently looking for a Laboratory Team Leader to lead their lab team. This is a permanent role and may be an excellent opportunity for you.

Key responsibilities include:

Co-ordinate the day-to-day operational requirements of the lab

Manage resources & equipment usage for busy season

Prepare lab budget and monitor spend

Manage performance and professional development requirements of the team

Perform routine testing if required

Communicate effectively with other departments in the organisation

Monitor the effectiveness of activities and implement improvements, as required

Investigate quality issues and implement suitable actions to prevent reoccurrence

Ensure health and safety procedures are implemented by the team

Experience, Qualifications, Skills required

A Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or a related Science discipline

Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

A good working knowledge of HPLC systems

Experience in leading a team

Proven ability in managing projects and effectively managing time

Excellent communication skills
