Our Client in Meath is looking for a General Manager to join their operation. This role reports to the CEO and is a great next step in your career if you have a project management and/or supervisory experience in Construction or Manufacturing sectors.
Effectively manage and coordinate all operations in the facility.
Ensure Business Plan targets are achieved.
Assume operational P& L responsibility for the operation.
Provide effective Leadership for the team providing direction and guidance to support the achievement of business goals.
Manage recruitment of employees
Monitor performance and productivity data and implement improvements where necessary
Maintain control of all expenditure to ensure budgeted targets are achieved
Generate reports for CEO
Experience/ Skills Required:
Proven success in leading a large team ideally in a manufacturing or construction setting (Minimum 3 years)
Strategically focused with good working knowledge of basic financial analysis (cost-effectiveness, cost-benefit, etc.)
Previous experience managing budgets/costs.
Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills
Highly organised with strong work ethic
