Duty Manager

Our Client is currently looking for a Duty Manager to join their team. The role holder will assist in the management of this boutique hotel, ensuring delivery of consistent excellent customer service. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for the smooth running of the day-to-day hotel operations including the bar, restaurant and functions. This role will suit someone with a strong Food & Beverage background. This is an ideal next step for you if you are passionate about the hospitality industry and want to progress in it.

Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively manage their expectations
  • Lead, manage and motivate the team to ensure a high standard of customer service is delivered
  • Deal effectively with guest queries and complaints
  • Promote the hotel brand to customers and staff
  • Maintain and improve operations throughout the hotel
  • Recruit, train and roster staff
  • Work with the General Manager to achieve targets

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a management or supervisory role
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hospitality (preferably in food and beverage)
  • Ability to multitask & prioritise within a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
