Duty Manager
Our Client is currently looking for a Duty Manager to join their team. The role holder will assist in the management of this boutique hotel, ensuring delivery of consistent excellent customer service. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for the smooth running of the day-to-day hotel operations including the bar, restaurant and functions. This role will suit someone with a strong Food & Beverage background. This is an ideal next step for you if you are passionate about the hospitality industry and want to progress in it.
Responsibilities:
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively manage their expectations
- Lead, manage and motivate the team to ensure a high standard of customer service is delivered
- Deal effectively with guest queries and complaints
- Promote the hotel brand to customers and staff
- Maintain and improve operations throughout the hotel
- Recruit, train and roster staff
- Work with the General Manager to achieve targets
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hospitality (preferably in food and beverage)
- Ability to multitask & prioritise within a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
