Purchasing Administrator

Our Client, based in Co. Meath, is looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join their organisation. This is a successful, busy company looking for an eager, competent person to come on board with them.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Process daily purchase orders
  • Maintain purchasing data management system, ensuring data integrity through accurate data entry
  • Manage and prioritise supplier emails
  • Liaise with other departments regarding queries and credit notes
  • Handle all Supplier/Customer queries in relation to orders placed
  • Related administration duties

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in busy office environment
  • Proficient in Word & Excel
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Good communicator – both internal and external
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Previous experience in a purchasing role would be an advantage
  • Weekend work and flexibility on hours required (40 hour week, to include a half-day Saturdays)
